Trame educative per nuove comunità is a group of public and private entities operating in the territory of the City and metropolitan area of Bologna and working in the education sector with different competencies and purposes.
This plurality allows each party to intervene within the different contexts in a complete and diversified manner, in order to approach and expand educational, instruction and social opportunities for local children and their families.

The Istituzione Educazione e Scuola (Education and School Institution) is a City of Bologna organisation which, as of the 2014/15 school year, has been managing educational and school services for children of 0 to 6 years of age, and other out-of-school educational services for pre-adolescents, including summer services for children of from 3 to 14 years of age.

The IES manages the city council services by promoting the integration of public services (health, social and educational) and associations within the city area that operate in the socio-educational sector.

With this perspective in mind, new parental information and contact strategies were launched for those with newborns and children from 0 to 2 years of age who do not attend traditional educational services, also putting in place new information and guidance projects for new parents whilst actively promoting contact with the social situations that require the same.

The Trame Educative Project also foresees the increase in activities and the organisation of innovative initiatives in the Centri per Bambini e Famiglie (Children and Family Centres) in the City of Bologna, in conjunction with other public service Centres (Centro per le famiglie, Centro Interculturale Zonarelli, Case della salute Ausl, Consultorio Ausl per donne immigrate) and in collaboration with the Trame Educative project partners.

The Metropolitan City is assigned the key function of promoting and coordinating social and economic development. It has developed and approved the Metropolitan Strategic Plan, a guideline for all local authorities in the area that include, among other, actions to combat social hardship and boost social inclusion, as well as interventions for the well-being of youngsters and the community.

Among its various functions, the Minguzzi Institution focuses on training throughout the metropolitan territory.

The Metropolitan City and the Minguzzi Institution also collaborate in the realisation of community interventions, paying particular attention to aspects concerning interculture and the creation of an educating community that values individual differences.

Founded in Pinerolo in 1981, thanks to the support of the City Council and EEC funding, its social purpose is to promote the integration and work placement for the disabled.

Within a period of just over thirty years, it has become one of the most successful voluntary sector companies on a national level, growing consistently and steadily, boasting a total social structure of about 4,000 workers, in addition to being able to guarantee its presence across most of the national territory.

This is an association of highly trained and qualified experts in intercultural and community mediation, which focuses on facilitating and strengthening the complex relationship between new and old citizens since 1999.

The association provides simultaneous interpreting services, linguistic and cultural mediation services, community services and conflict management services. It also organises events in the city that promote social areas for Interculture. Since 2008 it has been an Antenna node acting as a branch of the Regional Anti-Discrimination Network to better protect the most discriminated sections of the community.

This is an association that manages cultural and social solidarity projects, for the advantage of collective interests.

The interventions are of a cultural nature and involve sectors such as, among others, music, video production, narration, theatre and writing.

It adopts a multicultural approach that targets the promotion of freedom of expression, empowerment of women and minority ethnic groups, also with the aim of preserving languages, dialects and traditions, promoting peaceful coexistence whilst respecting diversity.

Antinea is a cultural association, founded by a group of mediators operating in intercultural education sector, promoting activities aimed at introducing foreign families and their children to the educational services in order to improve their participation and integration.

The association follows up various projects including training activities on the various educational models and laboratory and cultural linguistic mediation interventions to support foreign parents and facilitate their relations with the services devised to assist them. More specifically, practical recreational workshops are set up aimed at enhancing parenting skills with special attention paid to the inclusion of mothers. Over the years, the association has also specialised in providing expressive recreational activities including bilingual narratives dedicated to children from 0 to 6 years of age, aimed at promoting their inclusion and future educational success.

The Borough of San Lazzaro is in charge of the District and the headquarters of the Planning Office.

Established in 1981 as the Villa Ghigi Centre, it was turned into a Foundation in 2001 and is located in the Villa Ghigi Park; it manages the LEA lecture rooms in Villa Scandellara (San Vitale district) and Parco Grosso (Navile district).

It focuses on environmental education and dissemination, organisation of initiatives and events, in addition to territorial analyses and management.

It proposes experiences in nature in both the school (from nursery to high school) and out-of-school environments, providing training activities for teachers and educators, aimed at disseminating outdoor educational practices in direct contact with the natural environment.

This is a research and training institution for social and health services; for over thirty years it has been studying the evolution of welfare systems, educational services for children and measures to combat poverty and improve inclusion.

It also edits the iconic magazine Autonomie Locali e Servizi Sociali (Local Autonomy and Social Services) published by Il Mulino.

Since 2016 it has been accredited by the Fondazione Con I Bambini for its impact evaluation work; for this reason, it has contributed to the drafting of the monitoring and evaluation methodology of various projects, including Trame Educative.

The Library Institution was established in 2008 by the Borough of Bologna to manage and coordinate the fifteen municipal libraries present in the city.

In full compliance with the principles expressed by the UNESCO Manifesto on public libraries, it guarantees the right of access to culture and information to everyone, and promotes its development by enhancing multimedia systems and promoting conditions of equal opportunity.

The Institution includes various types of libraries, designed to welcome local citizens and respond to their different information and documentary demands. The Salaborsa Ragazzi Library is dedicated to children and their families, and is a dedicated section of the Salaborsa Library found in all the district libraries.

Established in 1982, this non-profit organisation operates in the Metropolitan City of Bologna and the Emilia-Romagna Region.

Over the years it has developed and consolidated significant experience in the design and management of socio-educational and proximity based services for pre-adolescents, adolescents and youngsters.

In recent years it has paid particular attention to protecting children and supporting parenting, boosting its multidisciplinary methodologies.

For over thirty years it has also developed educational opportunities in contact with nature (speleology, adventure pedagogy, outdoor education, environmental education, etc.).

The East Plain District includes the Unione Reno Galliera, (Boroughs of Argelato, Bentivoglio, Castel Maggiore, Galliera, Pieve di Cento, San Giorgio di Piano, San Pietro in Casale), the Head of the District and the Boroughs of Baricella, Budrio, Castenaso, Granarolo dell’Emilia, Malalbergo, Minerbio and Molinella.

We work in collaboration with the bodies (both institutional and non-institutional) operating on our territory to promote interventions in support of children and their families.

The macro-objectives of the district-based action comprise:

– the creation of a system between the different inter-institutional subjects that operate with children, adolescents and families within the territory.

– the prevention of hardship and promotion of the well-being of families and children.

We will make our resources available for the realisation of the project activities.

The Terre d’Acqua Union, comprising the Boroughs of Anzola dell’Emilia, Calderara di Reno, Crevalcore, Sala Bolognese, San Giovanni in Persiceto and Sant’Agata Bolognese, was founded to improve the quality of the services provided and boost proximity to citizens and their demands.

This means it is possible to contribute to the progress of the economic, social and cultural well-being of the reference community, paying particular attention to the younger generations; we will therefore work to achieve the best possible realisation of the  ‘Trame Educative for a new community’ within our territory.
